Another foreign {alledged} rapist story
Just heard this on the radio . .
An Somalian - who apparently cant be named - who raped a young girl (13 i think was the age quoted) has been banged up and now released for some reason BUT he is to receive £50k in compensation for being incorrectly jailed in breach of his human rights and it is not likely that he will be deported back to Somalia but instead will be free to roam the UK streets
Is this another case of the UK being a soft touch? does anyone know if this is the whole story?

RE: Another foreign {alledged} rapist story
Has the UK gone f*****g mad? It seems it pays to be a criminal these days. I`m all in favour of supporting those who are unfortunate or seek solace/refuge from opression in other countries but this is beyond belief.
What of the human rights of the poor child? What has she recieved? Knowing this country, probably a cup of sweet tea!!
This makes my blood boil. I DO NOT want this man (and I use the word man in it`s very loosest sense) to recieve a penny. More to the point he needs some sort of treatment - preferably with a big, rusty & blunt blade if you know what I mean? It`s draconian and I make no apology for that before any liberals jump on my back spouting human rights which in this case is utter BS.
Rant over.
:D

Its is my strong belief that no one should have thier "human rights" respected or protected unless they uphold and respect others "human rights".
If you do take the option of ignoring peoples rights you should forgo your own claim to such rights.

i agree with stu uk,
and if he can not get sent back to where he came from then he should stay in jail as he is still a threat ,
he must have come here for his safety and then raped someone then why should we
keep him safe???

I totally agree, this is my main argument against all the pc liberals that are destroying our society.

Upholding all peoples rights, no matter who they are, would be one of my definitions of a "civilised" society. Our ability to uphold these rights, no matter the provocation, should be regarded as a strength and not a weakness.

Phil are you saying that no matter what this person has alledged to have done, that we should protect his rights?
If that is what your saying? I have to disagree, once you choose to ignore your fellow peoples rights you lose your right to have your rights protected.
I somehow do not believe given the current state of Somalia he would be protected in the manner he is afforded at the moment.

Yes I think we should. I`ll assume you meant HAS done rather than alleged (because if it`s only alleged then surely all of us agree his rights should be protected) - and even in those cases I`d say yes. Because the alternatives are to accept abuse, torture and god knows what else.
