I`ve been on Pipex since 2001 and they`ve been great ever since I started. Never had any problems and its always been a fast reliable service, even got the free upgrade to a 2Mb line (when I`m paying for 1Mb). Couldn`t recommend them enough.

Having said that I have to cancel it soon as my company will start paying for my broadband connection and they insist on installing a BT one :(
(At least it will be 8Mb - or 6.5Mb apparently)

If you are on BT ADSL chances are you can go with any ISP you want, not just the ones listed.

I`m with a company called Zen, who are samller than the ones listed & really are excellent - can`t fault the connection or customer service/technical support.

Their site is www.zen.co.uk

You need to pick an ISP with a package that suits you for example, some restrict peer to peer usage, or have tiny download limits, if you are a light user thats fine, you`ll save a bit of cash, but it could work out expensive or be restrictive if you constantly go over your limit.

A good place to start your ISP search is www.adslguide.org.uk, they list most ADSL ISPs if not all of them. Also, check out their forums to see what customers of the ISPs think of them etc before you sign up.

I recommend IDNet - not the cheapest but definitely superb service.
