Actor Paul Gleason, best known for his roles in Trading Places and The Breakfast Club ("Don`t mess with the bull young man, you`ll get the horns") has died of lung cancer aged 67.
:(
"Hmm, new teeth, that`s weird. So where was I? Oh that`s right, Barcelona..."
Doctor Who will return in... ooh, Spring sometime.
Just looked in my pocket for some marked bank notes.
Sad.

Very sad indeed. The name probably isn`t totally familiar, but he was the guy that ended up in the gorilla suit in Trading places and was Dwayne T Robinson in Die hard

RIP Paul...
Trading Places is one of mine - my overriding memories of Mr Gleason will be from that:
1) Turning from his phone call to the old lady waiting outside - "F*ck off."
2) Getting buggered by a gorilla.

Sad news. One of my early movie memories was of him as "Long Tom", one of the Amazing Five from George Pal`s "Doc Savage: Man Of Bronze".

Anamorphism is simply a method of recording a wider-than-4:3 image on a 4:3 frame.
As virtually all movies made since 1954 have been wider than 4:3, they require anamorphic transfers
if they are to be shown properly on a 16:9 display. If you do not have a 16:9 display,
Isn`t it time you bought a new telly, you cheapskate?
