GHOST IN THE SHELL ITV 4 tonight (sat) 10.00pm
Bit late, but for those who havent seen it yet, its worth a watch just to see what all the fuss is about. Fingers crossed this is a new ITV4 programming policy, but probably not....

The Ghost in the shell film is a SI-FI anime classic, its far better than any of the `ghost in the shell complex` episodes.
Its the music. atmosphere and wondering what a cyborg thinks, that makes it so good :D

Being a bit of a Manga/Anime fan (thanks to my mate Sox) I watched it and thought it was very good.
I was recording it to DVD and forgot to pause during the commercials, but that doesn`t matter as I was using a DVD+RW disc and tonight I`ll transfer it to a DVD-R.

Thanks for the reminder about the repeat (I will probably need a reminder tomorrow though).
I consider myself an optimist, albeit an optimist with cynical tendencies and a dark side that Lucifer himself would find a little creepy. (Perhaps you've noticed.) You don't normally associate cynicism with an upbeat pov. But I have exactly that combination and will defend it.

Bzzt. Incorrect. SAC, as a whole and episode by episode, stands at least shoulder to shoulder with the original film. The use of the word `Far` indicates that either you havent actually watched SAC or you havent seen it in its entirety.
The story itself is far less oblique and far better realised than the feature. The only areas it falters in is that there isnt quite as much action and the animation isnt up to big budget feature standard. But thats like criticising Star Trek for not having the effects of Star Trek: The Motion Picture........or something like that, anyway............
