Page 1 of Problem with my cats.... need help

I have 2 cats. A brother and sister.


On Saturday the brother was hit by a car. Miraculously, he survived and spent a day at the vets on drips, x rays etc..

The problem is now, his sister is TERRIFIED of him, and hisses at him. She is so scared she almost started head butting our back door to get away from him. It`s quite upsetting as when she howls in fear, he walks up to her to see what the matter is and she hisses in his face!

Any idea as to why this is?

Well in that case, the cat probably mings of other cats, antiseptic, bleach and so on. Since cats are so sensetive to smell, the sister probably thinks `Who the hell is this?`. I think cats can also detect the status of another cats health just by the scent it gives off.

That would be my guess anyway.

Failing that, im sticking with re-incarnation.

Yes - basically, your cat died and was brought back to life and now has no soul. The fact that it happened so close to Halloween is also a bad sign...

I`d agree with the scent thing, quite often my 2 will wander up to each other give the other one a sniff, then twat `em and hiss a bit.

Hope the little bloke gets better soon.
