Page 1 of Music CD Rental Sites?

I have noticed that there are loads of DVD rental site out there but wondered if there was the equivalent for CDs or have the BPI put the kibosh on this due to the ease these days of copying?

I remember the glory days of borrowing CDs from the library and then taking them home and copying them onto tape. (err, someone told me this used to happen. Allegedly.)

This confuses me, if my local library can lend out cds which people will obviously copy why don`t Amazon or someone like them. Have I hit on a money making idea that will make me a million or are there some rules preventing this?

I can`t see it being a hit, if people want to pirate music, with the ever growing size of the internet and more and more people going broadband why wouldn`t people who chose to pirate material just download it?
