The Dickens Collection - Subscription Problems
Are any of you subscribers to the Dickens Collection.
See www.gefabbri.co.uk/TheDickensCollection/
I have been a subscriber since it started, but I haven`t received anything since Issue 27.
According to the website Issue 30 is now out. :(
My e-mails to the company go unanswered, and annoyingly their customer services telephone number is either engaged or rings out and is never answered. >:(
Is anyone else having problems, and have any subscribers received Issue 28 onwards.
There are only 32 books in the complete collection, so I am going to be £$&%S off if the company has gone bankrupt and I can`t get the last 5 books. >:(
Thanks

RE: The Dickens Collection - Subscription Problems
Hi,
I`ve created an account just to reply to this. I`ve been a subscriber but have had nothing since part 29. Same story as yourself, no reply from letters, e-mails, can`t get through on the telephone. How about you, have you managed to find anything out ??
John DG.
RE: The Dickens Collection - Subscription Problems
Just a suggestion. Are you paying by Debit / Credit card and if so are the details up to date?
My wife had a similar problem with a subscription which she had for my son (Jackie Chan magazine - not quite the same as Dickens ;) ), The mag was in fortnightly editions but sent once a month. Suddenly we realised that we hadn`t had any copies for a while and after a bit of investigation found that it had stopped because my wife`s Nationwide Visa card had expired and been replaced with a new one with a different number (and expiry date of course). This meant that the debit had been rejected , but we didn`t get any communication telling us this. We sorted it out by taking out a new subscription starting from the issue after the last one we had.
This may not be your problem , but worth a check.
