To all Forum regulars and new visitors...
Here at DVD Reviewer we support the United Devices research project seeking data which will help in the battle against cancer.
You can all help very easily - UD involves installing a small program on your PC, which then runs in the background and uses spare CPU processing power when you aren`t using the full resources of your PC - like NOW when you`re browsing a website :)
If you are a forum regular who does not already know about UD, or doesn`t contribute you PC, then shame on you. We will all have lives touched by this hideous disease at some stage - indeed their have been many forum members who have shared their experiences.
If you have problems with UD while you are using your PC, then at least consider having it as a screensaver, so it only functions when your PC is entirely dormant.
When joining UD you can join a team to pool your resources, and DVD Reviewer has a team which demonstrates that you came to the project through the site, and that you want to contribute as part of the wider team.
A link to our page to learn more, and download the client, is in my sig below. Please come in and join us !

And a remembrance of all those members and their loved ones who have fallen victim to this wretched disease.
RE: To all Forum regulars and new visitors...
I was just thinking the other day that with all the new gremlins members it was about time this got a bump.
RE: To all Forum regulars and new visitors...
Every time I see that, I think "oh yeah, I`ll download that when I`ve finished on this web page", but never did. :/
Finally got round to it this time. Cheers for posting it!

I received a security warning when I tried to run the program - would it be classed as spyware?

Mine`s has been running silently in the background since i joined the forum. Incredibly simple to set up, and a very worthy cause.
Please take the time to get involved if you haven`t already. :)

* Don`t ever give out your telephone number or address.
* Respect the opinions of the people you`re talking to.
* Don`t TELL everyone where MR T lives, and say HE`S a male ESCORT whose speciality is somehow EJECTING those SMALL silverskin ONIONS out of his BOTTOM

Wossname - you aren`t clear exactly what kind of warning ?!
I don`t think it`s classed as any kind of malware, but it might have been your firewall reporting an attempt to connect to a server, which is obviously where the program gets it`s research data from.
