Dog owners question

W@yne (Elite) posted this on Wednesday, 29th December 2004, 12:09

Had my dog for around 7 weeks now and when she farts you have to leave the room as it burns your eyes , you don`t hear it but you certainly smell it are your dogs the same ?

She is fed on complete dry food

You wouldn`t think that something so bad could come out of a dog so small ( Westy terrier ) She beats me paws down and I thought I had a toxic 4rse :D

Dogs stink.
Simple as that.
They fart.
They lick their arse.
If they`re hairy breeds they have dangly pieces of crap hanging from them.
They stink when they get wet.

Yes! One of my dogs farts are so bad that you could think that she has pooed in the room. That is not even the worst habit that my dog has. I don`t think it is that unusual and you should hope it doesn`t develop any worse habits.

Sorry to sound so cynical, but that`s delusional.
I`ve been brought up with dogs.
One can have limited fun with them but they aren`t "loyal friends".
They are totally dependant on their owners, that`s all.
I wouldn`t give a dog houseroom now.
I simply got sick of their clumsy destruction of property/belongings,their smells, their dependancy on owners or their overwhelming desire to eat eat eat eat eat eat eat eat eat all the bleeding time and in a manner that suggests they haven`t eaten in weeks.
As soon as I visit my mother her dog is banished to another room before it either clumsily knocks my daughter over or helps itself to whatever food she may have in her hand.
Pain in the arse it is. >:( >:(

All dog farts are horrendous experiences.

Luckily my dog farts less than once a year, if that. She is fed on dried food (Eukaneba) which has something to do with it.

Try a different brand?

Dogs are like kids, if you bring them up well they`ll generally be well behaved. They take a lot of time and effort to train properly, you can`t jst get a dog and expect it to be perfect.

To the OP: Wagg dried food has an odour deodoriser in it, worked really well for my friend`s dog!
