Does anyone know when the region 2 version of Terminator 2:Ultimate Edition is coming out in the UK and Ireland? If so what price?

latest date is october, but it`s not going to be exactly th e same as R1 (apparently!)

Sounds like they have dropped the seamless branching of the 3 different versions of the film and instead include one version of the film and the additional scenes as extras

Christ on a bike! I knew they`d fu*k it up. If this is true and you`ve been holding on for r2 and PAL, forget it. Buy the r1 now! The NTSC picture is crystal the DTS and DD tracks are bloody brilliant and you can get it for £17.99. E-mail your MP, the PM the Queen, it`s a national disaster. What do I care? I`ve got R1, branching seamlessly away to itself.

Has anyone else heard of them dropping the seamless branching? I was really looking forward to this one and I don`t have a multiregion machine.
Hopefully it will be left in, The Abyss was directed by the same guy wasn`t it, and we had a branching one didn`t we?

I`ve not read anything about changes to the R2 edition, particularly the dropping of the extended versions. If someone has read this on the web somewhere, please post the URL so that we can all check it out for ourselves.
I have the R1 copy so am not bothered for myself, but it would be nice if we had some facts on the R2 version - rumours can be dangerous things!
