I haven`t ordered from play247 for a while, my last order was shipped from Jersey I think - where I believe the company is based? I remember reading on one of the forums that orders are now shipped from Belgium? If I place an order for say, £60 worth of discs, won`t I be in danger of having to pay extra tax duty because the items are sent from mainland Europe and not the tax exempt Channel Islands?

Play247 still send all their disks in separate jiffy bags with the price on the outside. C&E don`t seem to take any exception to this.

I`ve been ordering from them recently, it seems that R2 discs come from Jersey and R1 discs come from Belgium.

I received 2 R! dvd`s on Saturday- both came from Belgium - Both were in seperate bags. No further charges were incured as a result of their new shipping policy.

Sorry, but why do people still order from Play? (Apart from them being a sponsor of this site!) I used to order quite a bit from them when I first got my dvd player, but having tuned in to these forums for a good few months now, I`ve found loads of sites that are stacks cheaper. The best bet is the 2 australian sites, Ezy & Chaos (unless you`re looking for the latest releases) & they only take about 7 days to deliver. Otherwise, the Canadian sites do the latest releases best. Is it that you guys just can`t wait a week & as soon as you click the `buy` button you sit by the door waiting for that jiffy bag to drop through the letter box?
