Page 1 of Techtronics and macrovision

I recently bought a Panasonic rv 60 from techtronics with the macrovision disabled, basically i got the player and the macrovision was not disabled. They collected the player and said that they would have a look at it, nearly two weeks later( i had only had the player one week) they returned it saying it had been fully tested. I have now routed it through my vcr and tried south park the movie and it is still enabled. I am really angry and just want my money back, so i can buy it from somewhere that is more reliable.
Has anybody had the same problem and can anybody suggest where to get a new player from when i get a refund.

Was it R1 southpark, if so

it sounds like it is nothing to do with macrovision

The Panasonic RV60 only outputs NTSC as NTSC and PAL60

both of which are unrecordable on normal UK video recorders which can only record PAL 50 (PAL 60 screws up their timing and the recorded image can look like what macrovision produces but is in fact nothing to do with macrovision)

No it is R2 south park, i know about region 1 discs not working. Techtronics have given me some more commands to put in and macrovision is still enabled. Wait until i speak to them tommorow.
