Shaolin soccer dvd won`t play on sony 725. Anybody else had same problem?????
I recently bought shaolin soccer on dvd from coolasop but can`t get it to work on my sony, other r3 dvd`s work o.k and i`ve even tried setting it to r3 manually but no luck. It seems to just keep spinning and stopping, do you think this is a dodgy disk. Thing is it seems to play on my cyberhome dvd player.
Any ideas appreciated!!!!!
Help with sony 940 av amp and subwoofer!!! Please
I have had my 940 for about 4 months now and was using it with a mission sub the sub produced a fault and it was returned for a refund. I have now bought a paradigm pdr 10 sub from richer sounds but the out put is really quiet even when i turn it up full on the sub it is still to low for a 100w rms amp(internal. I tried routing the sub through my mixer which has got a second output and it is a lot louder. Any ideas?
sony 725 problem. help!!!!!!!
When i put the sony 725 into standby a high pitched tone comes from my television. Is there anyway of getting rid of this tone, it only happens when the player is in standby and the tv is on the dvd input. I am using a 29" 4:3 sony tv and the dvd player is connected via scart. Please help!!!
Layer change on Sony 735
I was wondering if the layer change is slow on the 735, i have heard that it has a slower mechanism than the 725 and is it noticeable. I currently have a panasonic rv 60, but i`m sending it back due to problems with the macrovision.

No it is R2 south park, i know about region 1 discs not working. Techtronics have given me some more commands to put in and macrovision is still enabled. Wait until i speak to them tommorow.
Techtronics and macrovision
I recently bought a Panasonic rv 60 from techtronics with the macrovision disabled, basically i got the player and the macrovision was not disabled. They collected the player and said that they would have a look at it, nearly two weeks later( i had only had the player one week) they returned it saying it had been fully tested. I have now routed it through my vcr and tried south park the movie and it is still enabled. I am really angry and just want my money back, so i can buy it from somewhere that is more reliable.
Has anybody had the same problem and can anybody suggest where to get a new player from when i get a refund.

I have short listed these players and don`t know which player to choose:
Panasonic RV-60
Pioneer 626D
Sony 735
What are the advantages and disadvantages of these machines. I have a budget of upto £500.00. I would appreciate if anyone could advise me because i have loads of dvd`s waiting to be played
