Who remembers him in the 70`s wrestling? I never missed him on World Of Sport.

I read that he was quite ill during the filming of the latest `Auf Wiedersehen, Pet`...still sad to see him go...I used to watch him on the wrestling yeah...great childhood memories

RIP Bomber ...off to join Wayne in the big building site in the sky :(

My dad lived a few doors away from him in good ol` Birmingham, when they were both very young, a great shame that he has passed away.

We`ll always remember him for the Auf Wiedersehen pets, and of course the Indy movies.

What im listening to (if youre interested)

He appeared twice in Raiders, and then once in the other two.

I looked on IMDB, and he also appeard in quite a few other famous films, such as Clash of the Titans, Red Sonja, Conan teh Destroyer, Robin Hood:- Prince of Theives etc.

Very sad news.

Bomber was always my favourite character in AWP, built like a brick sh*thouse but a big softie. I`d heard Pat was ill - his role in the last series being quite limited - but still a shock to read the news.

Didn`t realise quite how prolific a career he`d had! His airfield punch up with Harrison Ford in Raiders of the Lost Ark is a highlight of the film for me.

As has been said, Auf Wiedersehen, Pat. :)
