ive been checking out prices for the new release of T1 and im disgusted with some of the prices we`re being charged! particularly bad are HMV wanting nearly £25 for it and others offering it for £20+ are Our Price and Music Zone. the only exeption i could find were WH Smith. i find it incredible that high street stores can get away with charging such high prices. i NEVER buy from HMV just out of principal!!! this is all the more bewildering considering you can get the R4 version for £14 from ezydvd. it doesnt take a genius to work out thats a whopping £10 saving! the only difference being is the R2 box is cardboard a la fight club whereas the R4 is plastic. would you pay a tenner more for a better (?) box?????

Heh, Rob, I had the same thought ! Obviously though, I had to check it out (as official DVD Reviewer business of course ;-)
That site looks very interesting and the prices are certainly keen. Post again in the Retailers forum and see if anyone has ever bought from them.

This is true,I kid you not. In currys superstore, they have got terminator 2 special edition or something, in their rather small dvd section for an absolutely whopping £99.90 . As i said before, Ikid you not.
Are these guys stupid, or is it me. Is there a very special version out there autographed or something? I can`t remember seeing anything about it.
So are these guys thick or do they not want to sell any dvd`s.

It was done to stop Staff selling to friends/themselves etc. before the official release dates.
I phoned one of my mates today to check on it.
