Evenin` folks.

On behalf of my good lady and I we would like to announce that for the first time we are now extremely proud GRANDPARENTS :D .

Our son`s fiance had a lovely wee boy today. He weighed in at a healthy 7lb 5 oz and , like all other new born bairns :D , is a belter.

TBH when our laddie phoned from the hospital today my wife and I could not speak for the tears of joy that were pouring from our eyes. I never realised how much this would mean to me until I held the wee soul in my arms. Proud as punch does not come near to the feeling I had when I looked into the eyes of the wee cracker.

Anyway folks, time for Glenfiddich and some Stella so later peeps :D

Ian and Irene :D :D :D :D :D :D

Congratulations to all concerned. Your in for a great time. I have two granddaughters, but one I seldom see. The other lives at the bottom end of our street and she has got me pegged. At 17 months she can twist me round her little finger.

Enjoy the many good times that are ahead of you. :D

Mother and son are doing extremely well and he is as contented a wean as I have ever known. Settles down almost immediately after his feed and then sleeps for about 3 to 4 hours.

My son and his good lady have decided on Connor Thomas for the wee man.
I have already nick-named him The Silver Fox as he has a small patch of almost silver hair behind his left ear. And he is still a wee belter :D :D :D

Now to look out the Scalextric/train sets/claterpillar/ from the loft :D
