All the best,

Good riddance to them too. Shame they aren`t closing the lot of them down really.

Maybe if they charged half-reasonable prices for their goods they`d get more sales!

In their defence I`ve found them handy for checking out equipment "in the flesh", then going and buying it online elsewhere :D

I`m glad. Dixons are rip off merchants, and just about everytime I`ve been in there I`ve been met by inept and rude customer services. Be glad to be shot of them. :D

I won`t miss them.
Ridiculous prices and incompetent staff.
I don`t like seeing anyone lose their livelihood, but going by the staff in the Aberdeen store, they are all care-in-the-community anyway and a big yellow bus will take them back to the playground instead. ;)

As someone pointed out though.Handy for viewing stuff in the flesh before ordering off the net.John Lewis will have to suffice instead.

good ridance to em i wonder if currys are on the way out too seems as its the same company dixons staff are more intrested in sellin you there extended warranty policy than the product you are after ive found that most of the staff dont keep up to date with what they are selling and are some times very rude :o i only use them if im skint and need something new to use there intrest free crdeit facility more and more people are buying online to make savings and better support rather than being blaster on buying extended warranties by the dixons banter

Agree with all of the above except on two points:

1) That`s a LOT of people out of work surely??

2) I sell (as I work in a disti) to them so my sales are going down. :-(

Hope those that do lose their jobs find summat soon...

I wouldn`t worry about them finding jobs Rob, I`m sure the local McDonalds/Burger King have got some jobs going. :D

In the short term, the Dixons lay-offs will cause a sudden increase in the number of chav ratboys roaming the streets.
