Child-carrier back pack thingy...

Anyone got one of these? If so, what make and do you recommend it? The young lad is a bit big for the Baby Bjorn worn on the chest now...

Been looking at the Karrimor Papoose, I know you can spend silly money (up to £200!!!) but I`m looking at £60 max for a new one or decent condition second-hand one on ebay, must be able to "stand-alone" when not being worn.

Thanks

Hi Julianf
I`ve got one of these and at 11 and 8 mine are a sight too large for it. It`s a Tomy dreamrider do you want it? You can email through the site. Don`t know what postage would be but have a look on ebay -i was going to put it on there but never got around to it.
It is from 6 months-when they can hold their heads up I think

Can you not just buy a rucksack and cut 2 holes in the bottom for his legs to dangle out of?...it might save you a few quid...and if it rains theres the bonus of being able to zip it up to keep him dry :D

can you tell I dont have kids :p

Mothercare do one for £30 . Its up to 2 year olds.Stand alone so you can put em in and out with no help from a third party.Basic model really but good. Here.

They also do another one which is a super duper model with added extras , Its £60 and it is up to 3 year olds. I am sure its stand alone too , we are going to get one of them but they are difficult to get at the moment , All mothercares are out of stock in kent so having to wait.
Not found the link for this one , But it is in there catalogue.
