Tonight I will be watching........

...Bad Boys 2 - fror the first time.

Tell me what you think of it (if you`ve seen it of course :D ) as I`ve got Pop Idol to go through first (I would blame this on her but it is the one thing I actually like, reality wise).

I was going to watch Once Upon a Time in America but he has promised the disk to one of his other mates tomorrow night and so he needs me to watch it tonight.....if I like it as much as enjoyed the first one I`ll probably buy it tomorrow anyway though!

Anyone else settled down to watch a film tonight/ if so, what?

I thought I might just watch TV tonite. I`m absolutely knackered because last nite I didn`t go to bed, just watched a healthy mixture of Adaptation then TV then Donnie Darko. Then Pavement: Slow Century (the live one) before going to bed at 8:30 am. Lovely.

First of all, I like Michael Bay. The Rock is a classic action film.
Second, I like violence and bad language when it`s used for laughs :D

I thought Bad Boys 2 was mindless brilliance. Sure, the story is a load of old cack (something about drugs ;) ) but the action is amazing, the violence brutal, and it`s gorgeous to look at (all 2 hours 27 minutes of it). Smith and Lawrence make a good team and carry on their laughs from the first film. If you liked the first one, I find it hard to imagine you won`t like this one. Oh, and Gabrielle Union is a babe 8)

Anyway, I`ve seen it twice in the cinema, and 3 times on DVD so far (I got the R1 a while ago). I`m sure lots of people will just dismiss it as mindless violence... and they`d be right. But I like these films when they`re well executed, and this is top class entertainment... imho :D

I`m doing what Ben`s doing. Not just because he`s doing it. I was already going to watch them. Glad we sorted that out. Ahem.

Well, I`m about jalf an hour into BB2 and I have to say that it`s been f*ckin` great so far! :D :D

Fantastically violent and remeniscent of the old "Death Wish" style of filming, where the producer couldn`t care less about being p.c. and more about making a rollercoaster oof a film...........great fun.

I`m sure that I`ll be back to tell what I think of the film overall - can`t type now - watching!

I`m going to watch the Oscars as well. Lets hope it`s a bit more interesting than last year`s attempt at a cure for insomnia :/

Yeah I`m hoping this will be a good `un too, with no overly emotional thank you speeches. I look forward to Jonathan Ross`s bits too, because usually he`s on top form on Oscar night.

Being that there`s no war or national disaster having taken place recently (as such) then this Oscar ceremony shouldn`t be too bad and should be what we come to generally expect from this occasion.
