The Salton Sea

While on holiday recently, I saw the first half an hour of a Val Kilmer film on satellite TV that seemed pretty good. I missed the rest because I was going out but I wanted to find out what it was so I could watch the whole film when I got back home. Looking around the internet, it seems that it`s called `The Salton Sea`. Has anyone seen this, and is it any good (after the first half hour)?
Also I wondered if there was any difference in the R1 or R2 versions, as in cuts.
Does anyone know?

Hi mate, Ive never seen the film but i did have a look over at the BBFC website for you. The BBFC site has no listings for The Saltion Sea which i take to mean the R2 is uncut. It`s also available for only £6.99 over at play so you cannot really go wrong if you really want to see it.

Yes, the Salton Sea is good. A bit slow at times, more like a 70s movie, but that is fine with me. I really felt for the Kilmer character, and the bad guy is trully repulsive.
Nice score to.
