Page 1 of House of a 1000 Corpses

Anyone seen this yet? I`ve ordered the DVD blind; mixed reviews on IMDB.

Hey Ebony.

I`ve had the film for a couple of weeks and think that it`s not a bad film at all. Don`t listen to all the hype, take it for what it is and you should enjoy it. It`s not to everyone`s taste & it`s not the most original, but it has some lovely dark humour in there. I know I keep harping on about the character Captain Spaulding...but the guy is as funny as hell!

Ascomdog is quite right. See it with an open mind and make a judgement.

Personally, I really enjoyed it, predictable at times, some strange camera work but good ideas that may be exploited further on an unrated cut.

Absolutely love it, i`m off to watch it in the cinema when it comes out next month just so i can experience it on the big(er) screen, cant wait for Rob to finish the unrated edition but i`m not sure why he would want to do House of 2000 Corpses instead of another more original script.

It`s certainly got it`s `arty` moments. I think it`s a good, fun film which is without doubt better than most of the recent horror we`ve been subjected to.

I actually got an official Captain Spaulding t-shirt yesterday, which is pretty cool. There`s now a company which is producing official `House` masks in time for Halloween. They have a choice of the `Corpse 1000` mask, the `Dr. Satan` mask, or the `Captain Spaulding` mask. They all look very good quality.

Trouble is, I can`t decide which to buy...or, I could just grow up and not buy one at all! ;)
