flights over new year can be quite expensive - although with a bit of shopping about you can get lucky. I paid about £300 last Christmas for my flights (pretty good at the time).

I`d be more worried about getting accomodation, as the hotels REALLY bump their prices up over new years.

I find expedia hard to beat for the best deals.

if you are a student or under 26 you qualify for cheap flights
call your local STA travel centre

to be honest its a central flight system... the airline prices will be the same but you may find one place will charge less commisson than the other

some special offers on www.americanairlines.co.uk at the moment - £180 return for new york, but i don`t know when you ahve to fly for that.
