Its that time again to clean the windows. Every 6 months. Any one know any solutions or really good ways of doing it to get them sparkling clean.

Damn...thought you were making reference to my earlier thread(me, me, me....Quote: Thatcher`s Britain, remember?). Anyway, your talking about the inside windows..yes? Just used the cheap Lidl w5 brand glass cleaner and that works a treat - just arm yourself with it and plenty of kitchen roll. P.S. my mother uses damp newspaper aswell.

I find that urine is great. Also, spread some of your feces round the outside of your house. No bugger will come within a mile of your house. Works a treat at keeping Neds away.

Tried the various solutions posted here - all I can say is that it doesn`t work on windows ME - left a right mess.

Do what I do and get the mother in law to clean them - I always find that it sorts them out a treat!! ;-)
