Page 1 of Scan SC-2000 - DTS playback?
General Forum
Just got an SC-2000, plays everything I`ve got really well, except for my favourite disc. I tried Saving Private Ryan DTS ver. and found a very odd problem. The studio and DTS intros play fine, sound all over the place. But then I played the movie and got no sound at all, the player showed it was running in DTS mode, the decoder showed it was receiving it, but there was no sound. I checked through everything, reloaded the disc, fiddled with region codes, but always the same, no sound on the movie! It`s not a faulty disc as I`ve played it on my PC with DTS sound. And I tried another DTS disc and that played fine.
Has anyone else had a similar problem, any answers to it?
Many thanks...

sure does play them , bought one today and they play fine!
Yes, also can confirm that CD-R is fine. However, still have weird DTS problems - some films it works, others it doesn`t. Would love to hear from anyone else who`s tried DTS from the SC-2000. Also, any comments on the picture quality - composite = bad, and the RGB.
