I know it is quoted as playing SVCD`s but so do a lot of other manufacturers yet half of them dont.

Anyone with this player could you please let me know if u have tried playing your own SVCDS on it, im not talking about normal VCDs by the way, Svcd are of a higher quality?

Anyone help please?

Thanks

Yes the SC-2000 seems to play pretty much everything I have thrown in it, Kareoke discs, VCD (including bad quality boot sale ones), and SVCD. The SVCD are the ones I have burned myself, some containing slideshows and some using movie clips. Both types I have created with "nero burning rom", and also the SC-2000 does not seem at all fussy which brand of CDR used or which speed they are burned at (I use 12X).
