Strange but true

Picture this scene , strong stomach required :-)
About half an hour ago I am sitting enjoying a rather overdue evacuation of the lower abdominal tract.
My good lady is brushing our pet dog in the hall.
Both of us heard our daughters voice shouting Hiya from the kitchen/back door.
Only problem was that there was no one there, she is still at her fiances.
TBH my wife, daughter, son and I have all heard our names being called out at times when we have been alone in the house but for both my wife and I to hear it at the same time was a wee bit strange.
I am just thankful I was sitting ,not a Typo:-) ,at the time.
Time for even more copious quantities of Valium and Stella Artois methinks.

My 2 year old daughter frequently has conversations with her Granda Derek, who she has never heard of or heard anyone talking about before.

He is my wifes grandfather that died nearly 20 years ago.

I pap my keggs every time she does it.

Got a strange story like that too. Bare with me, if you have the patience.

In the last house I lived in with my parents (we moved out about 4 years ago) there were a number of strange occurences. There was always a feeling as if there was someone else in the house, especially at night time. When you`d lie in bed it would feel like someone was standing at the bed side, and it was quite freaky... I`d end up in cold sweats trying to ignore it. It was the same for everyone in the house.

You could sit downstairs in the living room and hear footsteps and creaks in the landing upstairs; when there was no one there. My sisters once told my mother off for slamming their bedroom door upon them, and she knew nothing about it. Another time as well in the middle of the night, both my brother and I were woken by hard banging on the back door at the bottom of our stairs; the worrying thing being we lived in the middle of nowhere.

The most scariest story though, and this is completely true... was when my father (who was always a big unbeliever) saw what appeared to be a small child standing near the side of the bed. The child turned and walked towards the en-suite bathroom and disappeared. It freaked him out, and a few months later there was a knock at the front door...

... it was a man collecting for charity who informed my mother that his brother once lived in our house. His brother moved out though, a little while after his young daughter had died there. Our house was originally three seperate houses, which my dad built into one, and the end where the charity collectors brother lived was where my mum and dads bedroom was situated. My mother was quite shocked, and so went to the local church to check the death registry, and lo and behold, there was a young girl who died in the house.

Strange, scary and true. We moved out after about a year after that.

Cheers Ben!!, I know someone who is not going to work tonight!!
Mine`s is in a similiar vane. About 3 years past in July my ex neighbour`s husband died. he had been ill for some time so it wasn`t that much of a shock. Anyway i worked late/backshift in a bakery at the time and regularly got in between 12-2am.
Ot the time this event occured we were all sleeping in 1 bedroom of the house as we were in the process of decorating the bedroom that lies adjacent to the neighbours property, I live in a terraced house. Anyway on with the story.
Upon waking up one morning after working late I heard my daughter, about 5 at the time say to my wife `Mum someone was standing at the (bedroom) door last night` to which my wife replied `that would be your Dad getting in from work`, to which my 5 year old terror bringer said ` No it wasn`t I could hear dad breathing beside you`.
Concerned my wife asked `What did this person look like?` to which she received the reply of ` Don`t know he was looking into my bedroom ( the one being decorated) and had a hood over his head!`
Upon further grilling it transpired that she claimed to see a hooded figure in dark robes/gown turned to look into her bedroom. Did she imagine it? don`t know. was it my neighbour? don`t know Did i sh*t myself for weeks in this house oh yes. For the next 2 weeks I slept with a kitchen knife under my pillow, don`t really see what good that would do against a spirit but you never know.
Also every time i shower in this house, yes I still live here and close my eyes I get an `Evil dead thing` ( The end of the 1st one) in which i see my house through the eyes of someone/thing else moving at great speed until I see myself in the shower. i then naturally open my eyes and expect to see someone/thing staring at me from the bathroom door but no, nothing. I have ALWAYS felt this, way before my neighbour died.

Well I`m off to bed now to hide under the duvet.

cheers

One night went bed late and was in the bathroom and the cold water tap turned instantly on full bore, I turned it off and tried to make it do it my self and I had to turn to it on all the way to get it to happen.

Also up late one night and the living room door was open and you can see the bottom of the stairs, me and my wife were watching TV when we heard a a niose coming down stairs, a coin came bouncing down the centre of the stairs and landed at the bottom of the stairs.

Also loads of other s*** knocking, thing going missing ect.

Oh also why is always a c*** in a hood in your bedroom, never told my wife about that one., seems common though..

Bear.
