Page 1 of Everyone having problems with Toy Story disc 3?

I got the Ultimate Toy Box for Christmas and I can`t seem to get the 3rd disc to work on my Wharfedale DVD750s. The disc doesn`t even start and then locks up the machine. Just wondering if anyone had any luck with getting it to work or a contact address to maybe get a new disc (like Gladiator) I nkow this is unlikey at the moment especially with Disney but I guess its possible!

My Disc 3 has worked fine, though there was one time I started to play the DVD and it wouldnt allow me to have it in Colour. I avoided this Problem by simply turning it off and then back on.

Other than that no major probs like Lock ups as such. And Im using a JMB 3000 which I picked up for just over £100.

MrMacca`s post above certainly puts paid to Di$ney`s assertion that the disk is perfect, it`s the cheapo players at fault. Well, I don`t consider my machine to be all that cheap, and it can only play the extras by using the "goto" function on the remote.

It`s a terrible shame that nobody with clout (like the Consumer`s Association or - makes cross with two candlesticks - Anne Robinson) is prepared to give Di$ney a stream of the old rancid about this and get these disks swapped for ones that work!

Does your disk play at all or just lock? On my wharfdale the third disk plays but then stops as it is about to go to the menu.

If i use the goto function it plays that chapter but freezes when it has to change to the next chapter.

Any ideas from anyone would be gratefully received. I am fed up with wharfdale with this and the gladiator fiasco so i am saving up for a machine that can handle disks!!!

On the sc-2000 it works on some mchines but locks up at the menu
on other machines.Sounds like a duplicating fault similar to gladiator disc 2.It seems to be a problem with most sub £200 players but seems
to work fine with the panasonics and sonys.

I`m having a problem too. On my Warfdale 750 it plays the first chapter and stops completely when trying to play the second chapter. The `goto` function works ok but after every chapter it wants to go back to chapter 2 and stops again. I think I`m going to take the DVD back although, it really is a top quality disc and the 3rd disc looks fascinating...I don`t know! Is there absolutely nothing we can do except shout at Disney? Sorry I don`t have a fix...I was wanting to ask the same question.
