JUST watch the two towers on DVD

pointy100 (Harmless) posted this on Wednesday, 22nd January 2003, 20:48

this may be old news but i have just borrowed a copy of the two towers on DVD.

IT has no menus or chapter selection but it is a dvd and has DD5.1 sound, it says at the begining for acadamey use only and during the film from time to time for your consideration appears on the screen .

the picture and sound quality was what you expect of a dvd.

How is it this is out already can some one enlighten me

...which, for the uninitiated, is a preview copy of the film sent out to reviewers and then made available on peer to peer networks, much to the chagrin of the film industry.

I`m fairly certain it won`t even be real.

Just as a test too, I had a look on (EDITED). Got Spiderman, Harry Potter, Ali G, AOTC and some vampire s***e.

Look elsewhere.

People rename things on (EDITED), it`s a pain in the arse.

The reason it`s available, as many other top films are at the moment, is because they are copies of the DVD`s sent out for awards consideration at the Oscars this year. You can basically get any top film at the moment on DVD; good for those in the know, but bad for the film industry.
