downloading digital images back to fuji camera ( now working Thanks to all who replyed
Hi
I have just purchased the new Fuji M603 and have installed the Fuji Finepix software and downloaded both pictures and movies fine however I cant figure out how to download pictures back to the Camera has anyone had experience with other Fuji cameras that may be able to help .
I know it is possible to do as it is one of the things I asked before I purchased .
Thanks for everyones help I have now got it working it was as simple as opening up any picture file from my computer whilst in finepix viewer and draging it into the fuji 100 file ( a sub folder of the removeable disk )
Thanks again
Tutchy

I suspect your only chance of doing this (probably with any digital camera) is to buy one of those card readers and transfer them back that way.
You can get a Compact Flash to PCMCIA reader (laptop obviously required) for about £15, others are more expensive.
RE: Help needed on how to download Digital pictures back to my Fuji Camera
I`ve just had a go and done it using a Fuji Finepix 2800zoom. I downloaded all my pics to the pc. Went into device manager and under disk drives opened up "FUJIFILM USB-DRIVEUNIT USB Device". Click on the Volumes tab, then click populate. It will then come up with the drive info, drive letter and memory size. I then went into finepix viewer, selected the image I wanted to upload and saved as. In the save dialog box I selected the camera drive letter, in my case "H", then selected The default directory "DCIM" then a new directory "100_Fuji" (this was the directory originally used by the camera from where I downloaded my pictures). When I disconnected the camera from the pc and viewed the memory card the picture had been uploaded.
Sorry it a bit long winded. With a bit of fiddling it could proberly be shortened, but at least it works for me.
Hope you can get it to work on your camera.
