How much do you want to spend?
Bookshelf or floorstanders?
Whats the size of your room?

OR

If you have a hi fi, try connecting the output from your tv to it
You could try Richer sounds. They are cheap and chearfull.

Let me know. munch munch.

I dont care how much I spend on them as long as they are good and it does not matter if they are Bookshelf or Floorstanders.

The room I have my kit in is a nice little room. it is 13 X 13.

Hope you can help

Cheers

Try lookin at Mission`s or Tannoy`s. Both have a large range. Good luck.

You may find that the amplifier in the TV is the limiting factor for quality, you`re probably much better off going for a dedicated AV amp. You then will have the benfit of fully DD5.1 sound and possibly DTS, although this will cost you a fair wedge.

If you do not have the budget for an AV amp, then get some cheaper speakers as a `stop gap` and then use them as your rears when you get a proper amp.

Thanks guys.

My aim at the moment is to put two extra speakers onto my tv and have them behind me. Then when I get the cash I will get a great AV amp. Then think is I want to get the best one and not just buy a cheap one for the stake of it. So the speakers to put on to my tv are for time being till I get the full money to buy a great amp and speakers and sub woofer

You should have mentioned this in the beginning. Go for bi-polar speekers as they will be excellent as rears when you upgrade.

I use Warfdale Diamond 7.1 for surround, but they make excellent front speakers to be going on with.
