Page 1 of Does your dvd Reviewer take forever to load recently?

Is it just me?
The last week when I go to DVD Reviewer it takes for ever to load the full page- whatever time of day or night. Have I missed something or am I doing something wrong?

i.e. the text comes up okay and very very very slowly the graphics (green cases on left of items).

This has been happening for me - the adverts have been the problem, clogging up the connection.

I don`t get the adverts. Just the very slow loading time.

Dunno if you get time to look at it at work, but I always found Reviewer to be very slow on my hall connection last year.

What ISPs and what connects are you guys on?

I find it very slow most of the time and usually log
on around 5 or 6 in the morning.
connect with Blueyonder most times at 40-45kbps

Hi

I did have that at one time and i adjusted the anti virus / security sliders then the graphics loaded fine.

pc cillen [ seems to act up ] now use the AVG free anti virus no more problems.

Hi blodwin, not about this post but I just got the AVG free anti virus, is it any good and what does it do.
I did have nortons that did allsorts of singing and dancing when checking emails this one does nothing.
Also must I set the email thing to version 5 plug in.

The adverts have started coming on screen (namely Behind enemy lines and all the sound effects!).

Any suggestions Plse on how I can switch them off and just get back my nice quick friendly DVD Reviewer of two weeks ago?
