Jessica and Holly.. breaking news
School caretaker Ian Huntley has been charged with the murders of Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman.
The 28-year-old was also sectioned under the Mental Health Act 1983 in the early hours of Tuesday, police said.
Detectives drove to Rampton high security hospital in Nottinghamshire late on Tuesday afternoon to formally charge him with the murders.
His girlfriend Maxine Carr, a classroom assistant, has been charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice.
The best friends were missing for two weeks
The couple were arrested on Saturday, 17 August, almost two weeks after the 10-year-olds went missing from their homes in Soham, Cambridgeshire.
Two bodies believed to be those of the little girls were discovered later that day, in a remote patch of woodland near RAF Lakenheath in Midenhall, in Suffolk.
Mr Huntley is being detained at Rampton while further assessments of his mental condition are made.
In a statement, the hospital said he was being assessed "after concerns were expressed regarding his fitness to be interviewed by Cambridgeshire Police".
Mr Huntley lived with Miss Carr, 25, in Soham and was site manager at Soham College.
Miss Carr had been employed as a teacher`s aide at Holly and Jessica`s school, St Andrew`s Primary.
Detective Chief Inspector Andy Hebb said Mr Huntley had been undergoing a series of mental examinations since his arrest.
His sectioning took place on the recommendation of a psychiatrist.
Sectioning means that doctors have been given the right to detain him for 28 days to assess his condition.
Maxine Carr was the girls` teaching assistant
They also have the right to give him medication or other treatment without his consent. (Note... love that part, electro-shock the f***er)
After that 28-day period he could be released from the secure unit - or doctors could apply for another court order to detain him for up to 28 days.

Just heard about his girl friend. So what will she get for perverting the course of justice. If she knew he`d done it then she is as evil as he is. Now it says he can`t go to court tomorrow because of his mental state. Get him to court and leave the van door open. He won`t have any more troubles with his mind. I can`t understand why they say he is too unwell, why should he be looked after, make him suffer as much as possible.
There is only one sentance that would give justice to this and other crimes like it, Death penalty.

Bring back stoning.
RE: Jessica and Holly.. breaking news
You`ve already condemned these two people as guilty.
We have heard no details of the case, none of the evidence they have against the couple.
Wait to hear some facts before you make up your minds.

ARD,
For God`s sake, wake up and smell what you`re shovelling. If you were stupid enough to publish those comments in a newspaper, *you* could very well be charged with perverting the course of justice. (I imagine you`re on pretty shaky ground as it is.)
I don`t know what country you live in, but in Britain a person is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

Just kill them anyway.
RE: Jessica and Holly.. breaking news
may be just maybe he did not know what he was doing was wrong. would be a tad unfair to even try him in that case never mind kill him. if the guy is ill and did it he deserves our sympathy and help
RE: Jessica and Holly.. breaking news
sorry, but your comment have prompted me to respond in the strongest terms possible.
You think this skanky F*** deserves our sympathy??? what planet are you on??
If the \/\/anker can`t recognise that what he has done is wrong, and evil, then the F***** doesn`t deserves to EXIST
