Leeds United have announced that manager David O`Leary, Manager of Leeds United Football Club, has left the company. "After four successful years the pressures of some of the off-field incidents have resulted in the Company deciding that it would be beneficial for a change of manager.
"It is hoped that an announcement regarding a successor can be announced in the next few weeks.
"Leeds United would like to place on record its thanks for David`s enormous contribution over the last four years."

So the terrace boo-boys won then, due to his team becoming passionless and lacklustre in the second half of the season ? How can that be O`Leary`s fault.
If he had been sacked that would have been an unfair dismissal case, and no mistake.
Perhaps there`s more to these "off-field" incidents than we know about : any insiders on these boards who can explain what these might be (not a David Pleat kerb-crawling special, was it ?)

Risdale just said on local news `not to worry` about Rio going to Man Utd. Just to put 2 + 2 together (and probably come up with 5), O`Leary said he knows who will take over and they were already in place, and Hiddink said he had an offer from an English club. My mate (who`s a Villa fan) reckons it should be Venables, but anybody who says "if any team could form a good wall you`d think it would be the Chinese" is out of it......
