Next to the number of replys each thread has recieved you could also put the number of people that have read the post. They do this on another forum i sometimes use and it interesting just to know how many people have read your comments.

Er, 7? Nah, tis a good idea. It`s one of those little things that whilst not earthshaking, is delightfully simple and would make using the forums that wee bit nicer.

It would also expose very shy people who like reading but don`t like putting fingers to keyboard :-)

(The DVD Forums refer to these miscreants as "lurkers" on the Bargain Forum)

clayts, maybe you should have a Top 100 posters section. Maybe this feature isn`t available with the forum code you use but I think it would be pretty cool.
