I`m gonna buy myself a gamecube in the next couple of weeks (exam completion present!), but can`t decide what games to buy. I love my racing games and obviously want some multiplayer games.
I was gonna get Luigis Mansion or Star Wars, but both are 1 player, so I think I`ll wait for the prices to drop. I`m thinking of getting F1 2002 (love F1 2000 on PSx) and maybe WaveRace Blue Storm.
Anyone got any suggestions?
Where can I get the games and official extra controllers cheap?

Smash Bros is great, especially multiplayer. 35 quid at www.play.com, as is F1 2002. I`ve not seen anyone selling gamecube games for less (let me know if someone is please)

I bought a gamecube on sunday and it`s great, star wars is awesome, luigis mansion is too short by far but good!

my mates like these games best for multi-player:
ISS2 Super Monkey Ball NHL Hitz
for some reason, no-one else seems to like SSB:M except me, so I usually play it 1-player. Same with Waverace, as it takes too long to get good with the controls.
I heartily recommend the top 3. Bloody Roar is also worth a look.

Star Wars is pretty good fun, altho feels kind of repetitive after a while. Super Monkey Ball is good, few decent sub games to boot although the concept gets a bit boring after a while, and it`s juts a case of whther or not you can be bothered trying to do some of the harder stuff.
Super Smash Bros was one of the worst games I`ve ever pld altho gets great write ups in reviews for some reason. I`ve just bought NHL Hitz coz it looks class and hockey games are generally always good but the best game I`ve pld so far on my GC is Waverace Blue storm, awesome graphics, massive playability and a control system which you gradually get better at so in that sense it`s quite rewarding.
Just got Luigi`s as well, that should be decent I think.
