I`m thinking hight street retailers here since I`ve never bought something as large as this on the internet. So, what`s the best deal?

I know you said no websites but I have just been on http://www.kelkoo.co.uk and they have watford electronics on there special offers pages for selling the xbox for £287 which is by far the cheapest I have seen it.

The best deal i have seen is from http://www.gameplay.com where you can get an xbox, 2 official controllers, and any game of your choice for £349.95 and i think that is with free del. seperatly this would cost xbox - 300 (with 1 contoller) another controller - 25 any game - 45 so you are saving around £20

A website again, I`m afraid. www.gamer.uk.com has the console for £287. If you want to buy from them can I refer you to them so I get loyalty points? ;-) Please? Bb ps, never bought hardware from them, but software is pretty good, typically 5 days delivery.

try electronic boutique.they were doin a good pre-order deal so i dont know if it has been extended.also with them they do a price match that if any store is doin a deal cheaper than them and they can confirm it they will match the price.alternatively what till gamecube is released and see if any better deals come out.dont think the price of the console will drop but you never know
