One of the rip options of DVDFab is "NDS" which says "covert dvd file to DPG file, which can be played on a Nintendo DS" Never done it so don`t know how you would do it, but if its there, then it should be possible to play video files.... :-)

It is possible to play video files pat. It`s specifically Flash the aljar and RJS are referring to. :)
