Page 1 of PS1 games on PSP via PS3 ?

I hope I haven`t imagined this, so can someone throw some light on this one for me?
I thought that I could pop any PS1 game into my PS3 and then USB it to the PSP. Can you only play the PS1 games that are available to buy at the Playstation Store ? :/

yep, ps1 online store games, will play thur a psp/usbps3

for playing PS1 games, i`d suggest a custom firmware *cough* http://www.psp-hacks.com/ *cough*

That way you can make ISO`s of your games from the original disks using your PC, then play them on your PSP without the need for the PS3

The compatibility isn`t perfect with this method, but then again neither is it with regards to the PS3 method.

All the custom firmware does is uses the same method the PS3 does, but allows you to use ISO`s that you have obtained yourself.

If you haven`t already, now is the time to buy a 4gb memory stick!
