Problems with PS2 - Help Please

On behalf of my neighbour:

When his son switches on his ps2 it works albeit with fuzzy lines across the screen. Can anyone help/offer suggestions?

As far as I am aware it is all connected properly - no loose leads etc. It may be as simple as replacing the scart lead - I don`t know. I`m a DS lite man myself.

I would say the first thing to try is another video cable. Try and borrow one.

It sounds like interference or one cable touching another.
