Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator.

Spent all afternoon playing the Star Wars arcade game I played in the early 80`s when I skipped school.

BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exactly as it was back then, except for the cheats to actually get you to the end of the game.

Of course, this will mean nothing to you young ones, just to us 30 somethings!

may i also highly recomend shinobi/r-type 2/golden axe/super sprint & i`m sure there are loads more :B

Are these mame roms available for xbox?
are they legit or bootleg?

I am very tempted by that site... even at £75 for the lot(that is 37 DVDs believe it or not!).

That is a lot of money for a majority of stuff that doesn`t work properly and you would never use.

Just point a newsgroup reader at alt.binaries.mame or download the whole lot yourself via bittorrent.

Not all of us have broadband.

Also, I sometimes have a want to play a particular game and can`t find it on the internet anywhere(which has lead in the end to me paying £40 for the game from someone on ebay).

It is only £16 if you want all the mame roms, which is 10 DVDs. That saves several hours of downloading even on broadband.

Lastly, whenever I do get access to broadband, all the bitorrent sites I knew have gone.

Ive got loads of MAME roms and broadband. I`ll do you any game you want for 40 quid!

Additionally, as no-one has mentioned it, www.kaillera.com/download.php is the best thing since sliced crack.
