Page 1 of BBC reports Driver3 out this week !!

The bbc`s ceefax games page is saying Driv3r is to be released THIS week. Is this another Beeb screw-up, or is it really going on sale now and not waiting for June.

Fraid it`s a blunder. The game`s due out in June.

Yep, we know it`s June, points of view. Its just the BBC ceefax service on their games pages put out that it was being released over easter week. Hence the post here to check they had not slipped it out ahead of the set release date of 1st June.

Personally mine is on order from Amazon.

I`m holding off on pre-ordering this. I`ve heard some VERY dodgy things about the final build of this which was sent out to reviewers - loads of bugs, mostly when on foot.

Who cares about the on foot stuff, that`s just a bonus, It`s the driving that counts and that looks a WOW! I`ve had fun with The Getaway, got bored with GTA3 & Vice City. The carpet`s getting soggy with drool waiting for June 1st.

I still have fond memories of the PSone original - what a game! :D

Its been put back alittle again. Amazon are now quoting

They still insist that Driv3r is being released on the GameCube.

Release put back yet again to 25 June.
I guess all we can hope for is sometime this year (maybe). Better fixed than full of bugs, however late.
