I`ve had a gamecube for a couple of years and am getting a bit frustrated at the slow trickle of releases, don`t get me wrong I`m a huge Nintendo fanboy and there`s no way I`ll sell it there`s still plenty I want to play. It`s just that my girlfriend is hinting about getting me a PS2 as my birthday is coming up soon. To my suprise I`m actually quite keen on the idea especially being able to play Final Fantasy, and GTA but I still need a bit of convincing, especially when I`ve heard the Gamecube is more powerfull than the PS2 am I going to be noticing jerky graphics and slow load times? What are the games that would be worth buying apart from the obvious ones btw I already have soul caliber and WE6 for the cube.

definitely worth getting one ps2 got everything BEST footie game (if you like we6fe on cube you`ll love we7 International) great GT series and of course Final fantasy and if you would like to have a white ps2 check out my auctions on ebay :D we7 ready 8)

X-box, although the Gran Turismo series rocks.

you gotta get your x box chipped, if i include mame/snes/mega drive/n64 i`ve got nearly 7000 games on my hard drive, all ready to rock n roll, in fact i like it so much i got another x box for downstairs :D no more messing about converting xvid/divx to mpg 1, just bung em in the x box and watch em as they are on any tv :D

I`d say so Tazz, I sold my PS2 about 4 months ago & bought a Game Cube but I was left a little dissapointed with some of the games. Apart from Mario Kart & Mario Golf which I play to death!
I`m pretty sure I`ll be flogging my Cube soon to re-purchase a PS2 just for Pro Evo, GTA etc.
But that is my personal opinion, good luck making your mind up. ;)
