Page 1 of Ngage

I have to upgrade my phone next month and have been looking at a sony and a nokia and then I thought about this brick that I vowed never to buy. Is it as bad as it looks I should be able to upgrade for £50. I really have no faith in it whatsoever but I thought I`d better get some opinions before completwly writing it off

Don`t bother, just get yourself a 60- series nokia, find the correct website (ask westy) and you can play N-Gage games on it. You won`t look so much of a twat when using it as a phone either

Series 60 phones include the 3650 and, I believe, the 6610.

depends what you want out of it really, i`v had a 3650 and it`s a really good phone, swapped that for an ngage which apart from a few differences is exactly the same.
differences are
1. ngage looks very different from 3650 (obviously)
2. ngage has better games, tho you can run the less demanding ones on the 3650 as well (sonic/puyo)
3. the ngage has a very very good mp3 player built in & supports cards upto 512meg
4. also has a very good radio built in, and the basic pack contains good quality headphone and an adapter to use standard headphones as well
bad points.
5. no camera
6. if you are not using the hands free you look a twat using it

bad points aside i have found it to be a very good phone and am glad i got it (even over the 3650) the o/s is an upgraded version of that used on the 3650, which takes advantage of the stereo sound/enhanced 3d of the ngage.

Hmmm the 6600 seems tempting I`m after something I can Play MP3`s on

I like Stanz`s idea.

The nGage is an ugly beast and that new Nokia model (6600?) is a nice looking phone. If you can play all of your games on it but still have a phone that looks like a phone then you`re laughing.

if you can get the 6600 at the right price and the mp3 players the same/as good as the ngage`s i would also get the 6600, however if you plan to play a lot of games then i`d stick with ngage (tho i should warn you changing carts is a pain in the arse)

Don`t waste your money on an N-Gage. Buy yourself an M-Gage instead
