Short answer is no , I`m afraid.
PS1 works on the CD format - to play DVD`s you will have to invest in a PS2 (or just get a cheap DVD player for about £35 - £40!)

get the really cheap one from argos, it`s multi-region and it doesn`t have macrovision. My sister is recording all my disney dvd`s for her kid`s VHS player upstairs

Thanks for your suggestions I`m sorry I failed to mention I wanted to use the ps1 with its little screen for long car journeys Isuppose we`ll just have to resort to I-spy.
thanks anyway

Is this the 39.99 one on the back cover ot the catalogue made by ALBA DVD45 and do you have to do anything to make it region free and turn off the Macrovision. thanks
