It`s the equivalent of a PS1 with a screen half the size of a GBA, poor button layout, tiny cartridges the size of postal stamps and the screen makes your eyes bleed after about 15mins worth of play nevermind the whole "having to take the back off, battery out, change game, put back in battery, reattach back, power on, select game and start it" issue. Oh and the loading times on games are abysmal as well...

Yep it`s a sure fire hit honest!

I had the mis-pleasure of playing with this when someone came to see us from Nokia. It`s horrid. It looks like a croissant when you hold it up.

Not to mention all the things that Steven said previously. It`s easy to develop for, but it`s got a crap screen and what`s with the battery change thing changing carts? Crap. I got headaches after about 15 minutes playing it, and so did other people. Apparently there`s talk of version 2.0 of the handset...

The only reason there are games for it is because there was a nice little bit of cash to port titles for. If you want a portable games system now, there`s only one, GBA SP.

Nokia should stick to making just phones, not game/phone things.

Just my 6-cents.

actually palms and Pocket PCs are a match for the gameboy now, but do a web search on Tapwave zodiac its being released in the states today, it looks like a hand held and is, but it also has a built in PalmOs5 PDA, and is capable of PSone gfx, now that might not sound great, but it is as you will be looking at these gfx on a 3" screen and not a 21" TV.

from what I have seen it f8ckin rapes the gameboy advance, it is aimed at the 20 -30 market and will cost 200-300 quid depending on which version you want.

its also support dual SD cards and has built in blue tooth for beaming s*** and multiplay

Indeed handhelds are getting there, mate of mine was showing off quake etc on his the other month there but they aren`t exactly the cheapest. That GP32 that there was a big thread about in here a wee while back does look good, if I was to get one it`d probably be that.

I must say that the Zodiac looks like an immense `gadget` (how should it be defined?)

Anyone know much about it or have any thoughts on it?

The GP32 blows compared to the zodiac, the onlything that blows about the zodia is gonna be the price.

what gives the zodiac a kick start is it can run most of the 20,000 palm apps available now.

I know what your saying palm apps?

do a search on warfare for the palm.

its basically command and conquer and it rocks
