Page 1 of Space Channel 5 part 2
Gaming and Consoles Forum
Does anyone know when this is due out on the PS2?
All together now, Up, Right, Left, Down, Chu, Chu, Chu !!!!
Part 1 was a weird addictive game, anyone think the same.
From what i`ve heard its not getting a PAL release, a dam shame when you see some of the S**T that coming out at the moment on the PS2.
Been playing Splinter Cell on the PS2 at the moment what a great game. The graphics, sound and the way it plays are all spot on, the only thing that lets its down are the in-game cut scene`s, which look like they have been lifted from a PS1 game.
I absolutely LOVED Space Channel 5 on the Dreamcast, and I actually have a copy of part 2 on that as well, but unfortunately the latter is in Japanese only. :/
Up, Down, Up, Down, Chu, Chu, Chu!

the ozzie version is out. you can get it from dvdcrave for just over 20quid!!
What the hell is Space Channel 5?
Sounds a bit like Parappa or one of those dancing games?
You are right it is a japanese musical dancing game, with a difference, Chu Chu Chu means fire, fire, fire. It also has guitar combos and plenty of pixalated gyrating legs. (say no more, wink, wink).
Its daft, but so addictive, only prob is Part 1 is not a long game.
By the way will the aussie version of Part 2 work on the UK PS2 machine without any mods?
I think the first one on the Dreamcast was much better, sound and graphics, although the PS2 version of part 2 is still good.
yes uk and australian ps2 games are compatible
For those who haven`t experienced it, think of it as a modern day version of the old electronic game Simon where you are shown what to press and when, then you have to do it in time.
But where as Simon just went beep, boop, beep, boop, beep, boop... this game has lots of funny cute graphics, and really catchy music. :)
