Most of the `easter eggs` are pretty lame, as the whole second disc merely acts as an advert for the franchise.
But to get to the 7 deleted scenes, (which should have been left in, there`s no explanation as to why they were omitted) use the following steps.
Go to classrooms (after getting your money, wand and owl.) once in the classroom selection screen, highlight the bottom of the plinth. Press up and a H will appear, press enter. Select the flute, then select the key just right of centre, a bit small with a bent wing, then select the stone in the mirror.

Dont you have to pick a potion also as one of the quests?! Second or third from left I think, yellowish liquid in it.

It`s the yellow, p***-coloured potion in the round bottle.(I think the clue was given in the charms classroom)
Incidentally, what two potions do you need to make the cure for boils? I`m getting p***ed off trying and I can`t find the answer anywhere on the discs

You need the two outside test tubes for boils: Snake`s bollocks and Porcupine bottoms or something...
By the way, the left-hand book in the library contains a series of designs for Quidditch uniforms, brooms, etc.
