Anyway, there's a follow up, starring a bit of William Shatner, a bit of Sam Witwer wearing a deepfake-ish, and a 'permission of the Leonard Nimoy estate' digital resurrection...

I was a bit confused wither this was in the Spock genesis planet or in the 'beyond time' cloud that Kirk was trapped in for a while, where both locations were beyond time and death. But...
It does not really matter, as just looking at this video was like looking at old friends, it seems crazy that a si-fi fictional show like the original Star Trek can make the characters so real and full of emotion, as to create memories just like part of our real lives. Weird but thanks for the video. Just a pity there was no talking involved, but I suppose it did not need it.

There's a whole lot of continuity here, drawing on everything from the pilot episode, The Cage, to Season 3 of Picard, and Season 3 of Discovery. As well as William Shatner, a de-aged Gary Lockwood reprises his role after 60 years as Gary Mitchell from the second TOS pilot Where No Man Has Gone Before, and Robin Curtis reprises her role as Saavik from the Star Trek III and IV movies.
There's a storyline linking all these things, the Prime Universe and the Kelvin movie universe where Leonard Nimoy's Spock ended up, but as you say... none of it really matters as much as the emotions the film evokes.
