Does anyone know if Little Shop Of Horrors is available on DVD. I have seen the older version, but would like the one with Rick Moranis and Steve Martin in. My daughter has throttled the VHS copy she has of it.

Hi Future have it for about £11 region one mind and its 16/9 anamorhic which is good, There was a version with the alternative ending but its been discontinued apparently. Crackin film and utterly repeatable, will be ordering it myself when I become a little more solvent as just bought Planet of apes TV series( all 14 episodes ) from LVS for £35 and its briliant( also region one) Hope this helps, Best Mark.

The R1 disk is excellent loads of extra features at a bargain price as well.
If you have loads of money the original pressing from 1999 has the alternative ending in rough b/w sketches which was quickly withdrawn as the director refused to have it included and they never got his permission. This is one of the ultimate rare collectable DVDs and sells at over $250 !!
Only joking go for the version available in R1 and you won`t be disappointed.

Hi pat I can`t paste etc as nearly computer illiterate, but if you put ( LVS, DVD ) into google you should get there, if not let me know and i`ll have a stab. The Apes TV series is great by the way and very watchable. Takes me back to my youth. I was rather worried by that hat Urko used to wear and as it happens I have let my little lad watch a few selected episodes and he said he`s a bit wary of it without mention from me. I remember I used to be quite scared of the burly Gorilla`s. Good luck Mark. PS if anyone else can paste the address for LVS that would be great.

The 1986 version of `Little Shop` is my all time favourite film... I love it!
I`ve got the deleted R1 DVD with the alternate ending but I can only watch it at work on my PC as I don`t have a multi region DVD player yet.
I heard they were going to re-release the film in the cinemas with the alternate ending on it, but I don`t know if they will anymore... New York is terrorised by Audrey II`s
