I think that any disc from Devoted would be region 4? I have just received delivery of this 2 disc s/edition from DVDIMPORT, the cost was £11.38 including p&p, region 1 of course.

This is certainly region 2. They have a number of dual region dvds and I have bought from them before, all region 2 eg. Fast and Furious, Superman, Shrek. They are also selling the new Special Editions of Face Off, Con Air, The Rock, all region 2.

If you sign up to www.safedoor.co.uk you will receive £5 voucher if you spend £15.

http://www.cdwow.com are doing A.I. at £14.99, if you buy another and use the £5 voucher, you only pay £12.50 each dvd delivered. They have a limited, but excellent choice of DVD`s.

I think that they also ship the Region 1 version which comes with DTS/ES soundtrack for all those DTS affectionados!

I know that you were looking for Region 2 but hey, this is a bargain(if you have a multiregion player) ! :)

After reading this thread I ordered myself A.I from devoted.com.

This is the first time I have ordered from an Australian supplier and I got confirmation from them today saying they have shipped my order.

I went for the padded envelope and sleeve option and the total price of this dvd was $35.25 Australian.

I used http://www.xe.com/ucc/ to convert this into UK pounds and it came to £12.94.

I have just checked my credit card balance on Natwest online banking and I have been charged £15.07.

This may be a silly question but do UK banks (Natwest in particular) charge to pay suppliers in a foreign currency? As this is the first time I have purchased a dvd from a different country, I am a little confused.

Any help will be greatly received.

Cheers
Leeder

Sounds like this is your bank mate. I too bought this from devoted yesterday and chose the padded envelope with sleave. The price actually comes to $34.25 not $35.25 but this doesn`t explain where the extra £2 comes from!

I checked my bank account and I`ve been charged £13.04 (lloydsTSB - XR $2.65107)

I did the conversion on ezydvd just to check and they say $34.25 = £12.58

I`m glad you made me check this as my billing info says that the total is $34.25 but my bank account has been charged $34.57

Have a word with your bank and see if they have charged you. dvdboxoffice are the worst at quoting one price and charging another.

I have used devoted six times in the last 3 months without any problems either with delivery or price. I`ve recently ordered AI costing $32.55 for which my bank is charging £12.16 using an exchange rate of 2.67736. Also I`ve always used unpadded envelope at $3.50 and dvds have been delivered safe and sound. Check with your bank.
